Club Championship and End of Season Do 2024
Hi everyone,
Apart from a couple of play-off matches, our team season is over. I therefore need to sort our Club Championships and End of Season do.
Here is the plan.
Club Championships 2023-24

1. Entry Fee will be £5 - will send payment details after entries close.
2. Entry will close on Tuesday 30th April
3. Depending on entry numbers - the schedule will then roughly be:
1st round - played before Friday 10th May
2nd round - played before Friday 24th May
Semi-Final - played before Friday 31st June
Finals - Saturday 1st June
This isn’t just for team players and would encourage any members who are looking to play more people to enter. As always, we will be running different grades to cater for all players - so something like below but will depends on who enters.
A Grade - 1st and 2nd team players
B Grade - 3rd and 4th team players
C Grade - 5th and 6th team players
D Grade - mixture of some 6th team players and social players.
Ladies A Grade - All ladies will be entered in the A Grade but we will form a B Grade competition after the 1st round.
End of Season Do - Saturday 1st June
After the finals on Saturday 1st June - get the date in your diary - we will have some celebratory drinks at the club and I will sort some team awards out (such as player of the season, most improved, worst dressed, etc).
Then we will go for some food and drinks somewhere - if we are being honest, it’ll probably be a curry!!
If you will be joining us on Saturday 1st June to watch the finals and come to the End of Season meal - let me know.
