Club Championship and End of Season Do
Hi everyone,
So we are getting near to the end of the squash season with only 4 team matches left. I therefore need to sort our Club Championships and End of Season do - I was looking at a date in May but I think I’ve left it too late for that really. Looking at a date in June now.
Here is the plan.
Club Championships 2021-22
To enter text or e-mail me.
1. Entry will close on Monday 2nd May
2. Depending on entry numbers - the schedule will be
1st round - played before Friday 13th May
2nd round - played before Friday 27th May
Semi-Final - played before Friday 3rd June
Final - Saturday 4th June
As always, we will be running different grades to cater for all players - so something like
A Grade - 1st and 2nd team players
B Grade - 3rd and 4th team players
C Grade - 5th and 6th team players
D Grade - mixture of some 6th team players and social players.
Ladies A Grade - All ladies will be entered in the A Grade but we will form a B Grade competition after the 1st round.
End of Season Do - Saturday 4th June
After the finals on Saturday 4th June - get the date in your diary - we will have some celebratory drinks at the club and I will sort some awards out (such as player of the season, worst dressed, etc).
Then we will go for some food and drinks somewhere.
If you will be joining us on Saturday 4th June to watch the finals and come to the End of Season do - let me know.
