Liverpool Cricket Club Open 2025 presented by ABC Squash - 25th-29th March
Next week sees the return of the our very own International Squash Tournament. We are now into the 4th year of hosting our Professional Squash Association (PSA) Event and this year’s promises to be the best yet. This year is our biggest event to date, as we welcome back our ladies’ event and have increased our prize funds to $15k for the Men and $12k for the Women. This year is a true International event with players coming from across the World - USA, Pakistan, Egypt, Czech, Spain, New Zealand, South Africa, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Austria, Paraguay, Colombia, Barbados, Norway, Mexico.
In the Men’s event, the top sixteen players all sit within the top 100 in the World and our very own Patrick Rooney (WR56) is the number 2 seed. We are hoping Patrick will make it to the final where he could face the winner of our inaugural event Rory Stewart (WR50). The Women’s event is also very strong, with the top ten players all in the top 100 in the World. We are also very excited to welcome the former World number 2, Camille Serme to the club.
Alongside the PSA we have a full week of squash and plenty of opportunities to come down and watch some World class sport.
