Bar Opening Times - New Years

Please see an e-mail from our House Chairman, Si McKie with regards to the bar opening times over New Years.

Dear members,
I have spoken to some members recently about opening times for the bar under the current restrictions, I have listened to what you have said and can confirm that the bar will be open as follows:
Thursday 31st (New Years Eve) from 3pm until 8pm
Friday 1st (New Years Day) from 3pm until 8pm.
There is a government review of the current tier system on Wednesday 30th and there is the possibility of our region being moved from our current tier 2 and placed in a higher tier 3 status. If this happens and dependent upon the timing of new restrictions being enforces will may have to remain closed. I will be in touch as soon after the tier review to advise on club opening hours so please keep an eye on your emails. Hopefully we will remain in tier 2 and be allowed to continue to open to members and their guests.
Following current guidelines we will be serving our usual high standard of food and the rules regarding face coverings, table service and social distancing still apply and will be enforced. We look forward to seeing many of you as the festive season draws to a close. As always your support and cooperation is appreciated.
