Club Championships and Team Event

Hi everyone,

Thank you to everyone who turned up for our team event last night. Here is an update on our next two events.

Team Event - Week 2
If you would like to take part in our second team event on Thursday 16th September - 7pm start time - please let me know asap.

Club Championships 2020-21

With us unable to play any competitive squash for over 18 months, we will be running two club championships this year. Our first club championships will cover last season - 2020-21.

Entry is now open and as with previous years, we will be running a number of different ability tournaments, with a rough breakdown as below (all grades are open to men and women).

A Grade - 1st and 2nd team players
B Grade - 3rd and 4th team players
C Grade - 5th and 6th team players
D Grade - Mixture of 6th team players and social players

Ladies A - All Ladies will be entered in to this with a B Grade competition also taking place after the first round.

This is an event for all club players. We have had a great response to our team event and this would be another great chance for people to meet and play more club members.

If you would like to enter, please e-mail me on breen_drew@hotmail.com

Closing date for entries is Friday 24th September

Entry Fee is £5

The draw will be hopefully be published on Monday 27th September
1st round matches to be completed by 8th October
2nd round matches to be completed by 22nd October
Quarter-finals to be completed by 29th October
Semi-finals to be completed by 5th November
FINALS DAY will be on SATURDAY 6th NOVEMBER

Please put the finals date into your diaries. It would be great to get a big crowd down to support the finalists and celebrate our first chance to run a tournament.

Thanks
Breeny
