Dear squash members (and wider LCC),
As many of you will know, we've recently put quite a bit of effort and personal expense in trying to get our LCC 1st team squash matches live streamed and recorded. This has proved quite popular and if you haven't seen them already here is a link.

The next step would be to look at options for upgrading the video quality so that it's even clearer.
What we'd like to do is to test some options in terms of higher quality cameras or GoPro's etc that should improve the quality of the stream. Before shelling out several hundred quid though, it's hard to know what type of camera would work well for the particular demands of squash, which is fast moving and in a low light environment.
This is where our ask comes:
Are there any members who are willing to lend a decent camera so that we can try it and see if that type of model is fit for streaming purposes?
If any of these are a good fit then we would look to buy a version of the same camera.
Things that we would like to try are 4k cameras and/or mirrorless or DLSR, as well as GoPro's of the newer generation, or even the new Pro versions of the iPad/iPhone.
To give you an idea of likely specs, we have used before (on loan) the Sony a6100, and the Panasonic Lumix G7 comes recommended, as does the Canon Vixia Legria or Canon XA Handycams. As a point of reference, what we currently use is a Canon Legria HFR806.
We have the upcoming PSA tournament at the end of March and would like to have this all sorted by then, so ideally we'd be testing some camera options at the next first team game as a dry run.
Thanks in advance,
PSA Committee
